Oh my goodness--my usually very sweet and easy going little girl previewed the terrible two's today. I swear, if you just looked at this child wrong this morning she immediately fell to the floor in a full fit. She is on her back, kicking her legs, flailing her arms, screaming and crying, and rolling all over the place. The first time was in the waiting room at the Doctors office; then, on the FLOOR in the PUBLIC bathroom at the clinic (you all know my disgust over this) and then when we got home again. The first couple lasted about 15 minutes each but, at home she went on and on for about 45 minutes. Why did she pitch these fits, I'll tell you--1. she was not allowed to destroy the paperwork I just filled out for her 18 month check up, 2. I told her "no" very sternly when she was playing with the trash can in the bathroom, and 3. I gave her a few pieces of Valentine Candy corn and I put the pieces on the table instead of in her hand. Ay yi yi!
On another note, she had her 18 month appt. today. She was 33.5" tall (95%ile) and 26.4 lbs (74 %ile). Dr.'s only concern was Lauren's best friend, the pacifier.
