Yes, Another POOP story

I have, yet another, disgustingly funny poop story to share. This morning, William is on the potty completing one of his daily eliminations. As routine, he sits in the bathroom yelling "I going poo!". I always say "are you done yet?" to which he responds very loudly "NO!". This goes on for 3 or 4 turns, then we finish things up. Well, today Lauren is, of course, cruising around the house and must go in the bathroom and bug her brother. Well, instead of the usual "sister, get out of here" that I would hear; I hear "Sisters hands are messy". Well, William, so kindly, scooted back on the toilet; allowing Lauren to stick her hands in the toilet and her fingers in the very fresh poop. YUCK!!! She had poop on her fingers and smeared on her jammies and was completely happy about it all.

Sweet Sleeping Babies
I really enjoy watching my children sleep. They are so peaceful and quiet, I just never get tired of it. Sometimes, they look so cute, I can't resist taking a picture.

William likes to sleep on my pillows instead of his own. So, he fell asleep sitting up against my raised pillows. His head kept falling forward and startling him.

Playing in the rain
We had a nice rain shower, well several, thanks to Fay. Though, most were accompanied by lightening and thunder. On this day, it was only rain. So Lauren had her first experience playing in the rain with her big brother.
This pictures is taken through my fogged up camera. Lauren was kind of assessing the situation. She was not too sure about water coming down on her head--maybe memories of William dumping water on her head in the bathtub were flashing in her mind.

And there's more...

More birthday pics

Lauren really enjoyed the cake. Well, tearing it up more than eating it. She even threw some on the floor for Zoe--no, she wasn't there, but that is standard for breakfast, lunch, and supper--any time at the table.
Lauren admiring her presents
Is that a sweet birthday girl, or what?!
Hmm...I might be too big for this stroller. And, He's not pushing me, right?!
At home, William and Lauren had to explore all the new toys. William was busy "ironing" his "clothes for work tomorrow"--That's what he said he was doing anyway. In the meantime, Lauren was pushing her new doll, Colleen, in the stroller.

Uh oh, the stroller tipped over.

Are you okay, baby? Everything is fine. Let's go.

Lauren's one-year-old birthday cake

Lauren is 1!

Lauren turned one today. We celebrated by having dinner at a restaurant with a private room (necessary for two little ones that don't like to stay in their seats). William was more excited about the presents than Lauren, it was a like a second birthday for him. He helped Lauren open all of her presents and break them in. Lauren had a purse cake made especially for her me.

Brenden's Birthday

After visiting buddy Noah, we went to Wendy's house for Brenden's 4th birthday party. It was at The Bounce House--similar to Monkey Joe's.
Brenden had a Thomas cake that was very delicious
II think William felt like it was his birthday again. He was sure to stay close to the birthday boy when it was time for cake and ice cream and presents.
When all the other kids were bouncing, William was playing in the house
When all the other kids were playing elsewhere, William was sliding
He insisted on the pink ball to shoot hoops
Lauren needed a turn, too. She and I slide together all the time at Monkey Joe's. She was overwhelmed by all the activity and did not want to leave her sling.

William sliding all by himself. He is a rough and tumble boy but, is a little tentative about sliding on these tall slides

Visiting Buddy Noah

We had the opportunity to visit with some good friends that were made in MS. The Hunter's--David, Teresa, Noah, and Hannah--are now living in TX but they have family to visit in Atlanta, giving us the chance to visit with them. William and Noah picked up just as if no time had passed--in actuality over a year has passed since they last played. Noah greeted William at the door. William said "Hi buddy Noah". Noah said "Hi, William". They sort of put their hands out as if to shake them and then they were off to play.
This is after nap and neither of the boys wanted pants on--it must be a boy thing--feeling the need to go without pants, that is.
Hannah was calling somebody. Probably her Papa. She says Papa with the cutest inflection.
William is waiting in line to be tickled by David. William used to call Noah's Dad, David; and is mom, Mr. Hunter.
They only know what was going on here
Noah is trying out William's plasma car. William is putting on the helmet to get ready for his turn.

All of the kids played very nicely together.
Hannah and Lauren played as appropriately as expected--beside each other, not with each other

oh what fun the trampoline was--especially for Lauren. She loved for everyone to bounce around her while she sat in the middle. And, of course, no one is safe from being tackled by William.
