Music Day

First things first...I gave up on the last post after trying three times to upload pictures. It's just not happening. The good news is I haven't given up all together so, here is a new post.

The GA Music Hall of Fame has an excellent children's music program once a month. We go as often as possible. W was comfortable from the beginning--joining in on the group movement activities and doing a little open-mic time without pause. L has warmed up a little more each time we have gone. The first time she wouldn't leave her stroller--now, on the flip side of that, she participated in open mic! They are both amazing and they have one proud Mama!

The Music Factory is the children's section of the museum. There are a variety of instruments for the children to play with including drums, tambourines, maracas, piano, and other things I can't remember the names of. They also this super slick slide that W and L love--seriously it is slick, you fly off when you get to the end. The music program is lead buy a children's musician named Pam Blanchard.

In this collage, L and W are strumming the guitar, playing the music wall, playing their harmonicas, and playing the drums

W singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star

L singing Isty Bitsy Spider. You have to listen very closely to hear her, even in the mic, but she is singing. She was so proud of herself, as was I.

And the Dynamic Duo perfecting their harmonica duet
