Pure Imagination

That is all William needs to play and have fun. Today he played in my bed under the comforter with a digital tire pressure gauge--or key-- that is waiting for a new battery. He gets under the comforter with no light coming through the bottom and it becomes his plane. Specifically, according to William, a cargo plane like daddy flies. William uses the "key" to start the plane and he is off on an adventure. He insisted on taking both me and "my baby" on rides in his plane. He flew us to the beach.

Lauren's Words

My little Lauren is a BIG talker. At her young age of 9 months she has four pseudo words--she says ma ma, more, bye bye, and go (you can hear that one in the video). "Go" is almost always preceded by a lip smack. She started saying go last night while she was playing with Grandma and showed off her skills to me today. It is so fun to witness her learn new and necessary skills everyday--nothing is more meaningful these wonderful memories we are forming everyday.

Strawberry Picking

William went strawberry picking today with his friend Kaylee. He was so excited about going to pick strawberries. So excited that he picked 4 whole strawberries and was done--ready for a hot dog! Nevertheless, it was a fun day.

My silly kids

Lauren was having great fun banging on the computer keys. I didn't mind until she ripped one off the computer. Now the left and right side of the computer match since William ripped one off when he was about the same age.
This is Lauren's favorite place to get into trouble. She travels between three chairs--thinking she is so big. She pulled one over the other day and went down with it--she was not hurt; It was a very graceful fall.
Grandpa and William took a trip to the attic where William found this fabulous mask. He LOVES it and wants to wear it in the water.

Day Trip

We took a fun day trip to Indian Springs State Park in Flovilla, GA with our friends Tracy, Lindsay, and Jillian. William has been dieing to get into the water ever since playing in the water last week (We played in a lake in FL for a car break on our way to Sebring, FL for a wedding). Lauren also enjoyed getting her feet wet and splashing in the water--oh, and tasting testing the sand. In the video, I had to stop videoing because she was crawling away in the water (this is her newest skill--crawling--she is into everything!!) I tried to keep the hat on Lauren to protect her blond head but she managed to pull her hat off and throw it in the water--I guess she settled that. For those of you who are missing the potty training poop stories, they have returned and will be shared by request only.

William likes to take "my baby" for rides on his motorcycle. When he is on the motorcycle by himself he tries to go really fast down the sloped driveway and off the edge; but with Lauren on there he is very slow and careful. William always says "my baby" this and that--he is a good big brother and loves his sister.
William liked having Lauren sleeping next to him. He wanted to cuddle up right next to her. Both of my children are huge cuddlers.
Okay, this was so funny. You watch and you'll see. Lauren is having such a good time moving around to different things in the house and pulling up. Tonight, she was especially funny when standing at the coffee table. She started kicking her feet around and twisting her legs--like she was doing a little dance.
